Christians case closed

11/23/2020 

Mrs. Taaffe came to our class today to confessed that she did the crime and stole the dongle and the Milkyway and she did come to drop off some school work.

She stole the dongle because she was having issues with chrome casting and saw the milk ways and stole them because she likes little chocolates.

She did it on 10/10/2020 Saturday.

She got in by shutting down the alarm in the office to Whetu and had a key to unlock the door.

We had video evidence for are two mane suspects Mrs. Taaffe and Miss Coles and Mrs. Taaffe's fingerprints were found on the door Milkyway rapper and her shoe size fits.

Athletics

Athletics was on Tuesday and I did Shotput, Long jump, sprints, High jump.

The most challenging thing was the 800-meter run, and I came 3rd in it and I was going to have a sprint off at the last 100-meter run but I didn't and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd were Orewa.

And the learning power that I used in 800-meters was resilience because I had the stitch and did not stop running.

In the long jump, I came 4th and my best jump was 3.42 meters/ my 1st jump, My 2nd jump was 2.72 meters, My third jump was 2.89 meters and I am happy with my results, The learning power that I used was resilience because my second and third jump was after 800-meters.

In the high jump, I did not get to Hauraki plains and I didn't complete one jump, the learning power that I used was courage because I never gave up when I hurt myself on the pole.

In the shot put, I don't know what I came but I did push the shot put the ball 3.96.

Fingerprints

 These are the steps

Step 1: Grise your finger in your hair.

Step 2: Press your finger on the glass.

Step 3: Dust the fingerprint gently on the glass.

Step 4 Put some tape on the print

Step 5 Lift the tape of and put it on some black paper.

 This week for our braking at school we did fingerprints and learned that everyone has different fingerprints even identical twins don't have the same fingerprints, nether twins. And you can  see fingerprints them by getting this from the police use this to find fingerprints on things.

   This week for maths mystery I worked with Lachie to complete the maths mystery. 

The person that we got was the angel that was smiling.

The hardest clue was clue 5 because we did not know at the start.

This week for Maths mystery we did a cake mystery it was about the principal having his birthday. 

 And one of the teachers stole the cake and there were 5 clues.

The culprit was Aramahou Anderson and I think her name is really weird.

                                                     

Rad Rhythm

                                  This week for my Opt-in choice I choose rad rhythm.

We learned about beat and rhythm beat is about like a clock ticking and you clap

 your hands our tap your foot.

And rhythm is the actual sound or the time value of the notes which ina song would also be the same words.

The finest thing was playing the drums.

 This week I joined the cooking group to make

On the first day, we did a safety in the kitchen sheet.

On the second day, we cut up the vegetables and did a word find.

And on the third day, we ate soup and it was so good.

The best part was eating the soup because is was so good

and we had bread with butter on it.

Maths mahi

       This is my maths Mahi doing a rotation sheet clockwise and anticlockwise.

We had to cut out the animals on one sheet and on to the other sheet where we had 

to do clockwise and anticlockwise on different sheets.

For the past term, I have created a piece of  pop art and it took ages to finish

the hardest part was the background because it was the most pasteling

and the easiest part was writing ADIDAS.

Inquiry

 For are inquiry this term we were talking about if animals should be kept in Zoos. 

My opinion was yes because Zoos provide breeding programs endangered animals.

And I had three opinions on my poster.

Cross-country

For Cross Country this year they postponed Cross country. So we had to do it around the domain the 10-year-olds had to do two big laps and one little lap. I came 7th  and an awesome sprint against Jonko at the end he just won so I came 7th in the 10-year-olds. The hardest part was the two big laps because I kept on running and walking and I was coming 5th, 6th, and 7th.

Whetu Challenge

This week for the Whetu challenge we had to work in a are constellation team to make a

 cartoon character. We did our one from SpongeBob SquarePants I did Gary and his food bowl

the people that were in my group was Danny, Michael, and Max Danny did SpongeBob 

Michael did Patrick and Max did Plankton and I made the background for our characters.

And we had to choose what another group we liked I liked Rafiki because they had Jellyfish

floating around.

Whetu challenge

This week for Whetu Challenge we did an Egg Drop Challenge. 

I work with Jai and Darius to try not to crack an egg from the top of the grandstand are

egg had a tiny little crack in it so we lost.

The materials we used were scissors, string, straws, paper bag, balloon tape newspaper,

 sock and an egg. We had a lot of ideas at the start and one of are balloons poped 

so we had to put the balloon on the bottom so then the balloon would pop at

the bottom and it would have no inpact on the egg.

Term 2 reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most was the blog challenge because their was some really cool ones but my favorite was the make your dream bedroom design.





Something that has challenged me this term has been the week 11 maths mystery because I had no idea what some of the clues meant.I had to read them properly to be able to work them out.






The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the egg carton challenge because I made this really cool egg carton space ship with rocket boosters and a swordfish pilot made out of lego and I had a really good plan.

An aim I have for my learning is to improve my time on TT and get to Rock Hero.

EGG CARTON CREATION

This week for our Whetu Challenge we created something using egg cartons.

And I made a space ship with a booster.

And I have a pilot it is a lego swordfish and I have the Chief's colors on top.
And a little seeing hole at the front so my Swordfish can see.

And the materials In used were An egg carton paint sharpie toilet roll with no paper.

Whetu Challenge

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece
of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be hard because I a
have never made a paper plane before.

I decided to use the design of making my own design and the name of it was Turkey Airlines.

The hardest part was making mine to fly because it's not a good flyer and was a trick plane.

This is my new Nerf gun. It's the best Nerf gun because it's the Ultra with the furthest bullet yet with 25 meters shoot. But it needs four C batteries in it. And you do not need

Today I worked with Cullen and Franklin to make a tower to hold a tennis ball

At first, we had trouble deciding what we were going to do for the tennis ball to sit on.

The easiest thing was sitting the tennis ball because we had a couch for it.

The best part of our tower was that we made the Eiffel tower.

Our tower looked not bad but it looked really cool.

In the end, are tower could hold the tennis ball in and little tunnel.

Whetu Catapult Challenge

The things that I used to make my catapult were popsicle sticks rubber bands and a spoon

To make my catapult I worked with Lachie Joseph

The most challenging part was getting the catapult to work because we had to restart ones

Our best results were in the high distance because we went pretty high

Overall I think that we need to have a little bit more training.

Week 1 Reflection

What has been my highlight this week catching up with my friends and playing tigy tigy manhunt and seaweed

What was I nervous about this week coming back to school.

For dress, up day I dressed up as a chiefs rugby player because they are my favorite

The funniest thing has happened this week is was the teachers dressing up I thought it was a bit unusual

I think the best dressed person was was Cohen because I really liked his camo and his gun.

This week for art I made a dinosaur out of a milk carton. The hardest part was getting the mouth done. The coolest thing about my dinosaur was that it could chew with its mouth. And I did used green and neon green sharpie around the eyes. The milk bottle creation I made was a Dinosaur.

This week I finished the murder mystery dun dun dun the second clue was really hard to understand and my mum could'int either but my dad cude he told me how to do it and I finished it!

This week I made I kite I did the Waikato colors, Chiefs rugby boot, Chiefs rugby ball and the super rugby cup, and the Chiefs logo and I had a plan!

This week for school at home I did the emoji code breaker I got some of them wrong but my mum helped me and the ones I got wrong I had to do again and then I got them right!

This week for ANZAC day I went on my iPad on Minecraft and made a bunker and graves with popys around them and I made a path from the bunker to the graves here are the photos.

This week for Chapter challenge I have completed a digital design for my favorite the thing I found
hard to do was sharpie around it the thing I found easy was to draw the water the thing I'm most proud of is my shark sketch.

hard has to find the place to put it all on and to find the zip the best bit is the working
zip line. And Joe was in a basket sliding down.

This week I have been working on google docs with Desmond to complete away with words task the thing I found hard was trying to find something for Y I found it easy for ABC to find something.

We did the poop trail of the donkey's on google drawing's we had poop on the grass  we made our self's on google drawing's 
It was really fun!
